Founded in 1987, The GSM Association (GSMA) is a global trade association representing more than 750 GSM mobile phone operators across 218 territories and countries of the world .

The GSMA has been working for the past year on two major initiatives: Mobile Money Transfer, focused on international remittances and remote banking/payments; and Pay-Buy-Mobile, which is focused on transactions at point of sale.

In February 2008, the GSMA announced it had enrolled a select few partners, including Fundamo, to establish a hosted mobile-wallet platform, enabling mobile operators to pilot financial services rapidly, and for the benefit of millions of people without a bank accounts.

Fundamo is a chosen Mobile Money Vendor for the GSMA.

BSI has been appointed as Fundamo’s reseller for Brazil

Gemalto (previously Gemplus and Axalto) is the leading global provider of SIM and Smart Card technology. Fundamo and Gemalto have been working together, through a comprehensive worldwide distribution agreement, since 2003. Through this agreement Gemalto may resell the Fundamo solutions.

S1 Corporation
(NASDAQ: SONE) delivers customer interaction software for financial and payment services. As an active and consistent player in the mobile transacting space, Fundamo values its relationships with international financial organisations, one of which is MasterCard, having been a member of its vendor programme since 2002.
Total Transaction Mobility (TTM)
Total Transaction Mobility is a wholly owned subsidiary of the Nonoo Financial Services group, a leading provider of money exchange and transfer services, authorised by the Central Bank of Bahrain (CBB), with an extensive network of branches throughout the Kingdom and, as Gulf agents for Western Union, a franchise extending across other GCC states. The company is acknowledged for the quality of its management, systems, and application of robust KYC/AML procedures.
